Unlike some of my peers in the industry, I actually enjoy unplugging from technology and getting out to see the country. One stop I recently made on my many adventures across this great land was in northwest Georgia.
Just outside a little town called Crandall, GA is a family farm that has recently opened its’ doors to the public. Cohutta Springs Winery has been in the Plemons family since pre-Civil War times and creates some of the most unique flavors and varieties you’ll find from a winery in this region. Paige and Adam Plemons have successfully transitioned their hobby for vino into a business that not only creates great grapes, but also can cater to special events, weddings, business meetings and quiet weekend tastings.
Here’s a quick little video I created for them, hope it inspires you to take the 90 minute drive north of Atlanta next time you’re in the area.
